The Indigo Affair's Story
We didn't discover this craft. We grew up inside it.
The Indigo Affair was born from a desire to create clothing and lifestyle pieces that feel honest, wearable, and lasting.
Working with pure cotton, traditional block printing, and small-batch craft, we focus on making that bring together heritage and modern simplicity, made to be truly lived in, not just worn

Our Beginning
At Indigo Affair, we began searching for clothing that felt natural, lasting, and meaningful. Instead, we found synthetic fabrics and muted, mass-produced styles. We wanted something more honest — clothing that feels good on the body and reflects a more conscious way of living.
We knew there had to be a better way.
Rediscovering Craftsmanship
That search led us back to Jaipur, where our family was running stiching unit for decade. We explored solutions which introduced us to various pure cotton textiles and traditional block printing. This centuries-old craft changed everything for us. We began experimenting with fabrics and prints, blending heritage techniques with thoughtful design to create something truly authentic.
The Moment We Knew
We lauched our brand through a traditional channel first. Our first UK market stall confirmed everything. People didn’t just like the products — they connected with them. They told us they hadn’t seen fabrics and craftsmanship like this in years. In that moment, Indigo Affair shifted from an idea to a purpose
Our Promise
At Indigo Affair, we design clothing, bags, and notebooks using pure cotton, recycled materials, and traditional block printing, all made in small batches. We believe sustainability should feel effortless, stylish, and accessible. Our promise is to create thoughtful, durable pieces that honour craftsmanship, reduce impact, and are made to be used and loved for years.
